I was never happy with the way the site looked and had planned on remodeling it from the start, so naturally it took me nearly a year to get around to it. It's still not anything special, but I've never had any sort of talent for design so the fact that I don't hate it, to me, is a big plus. I have some other things I'd like to fix as well, if I get the time and inclination, most prevalent on my mind being adjusting the home page to display recent activity on the site. That way you don't see several-month-old bits of news every time you bring up the home page. No idea when that will be ready though.
Let me know what you think about the changes, and if you run into any issues don't hesitate to let me know either in the forums or email.

Why is the 'Read' option in the navigation menu in its own small definition list?
|
I'm not sure what exactly you mean by definition list, but it could be because the Read option becomes a drop-down list when you hover over it. A list of stories will be displayed in that drop-down list and if you hover over those, a list of chapters will be displayed for that story. The only catch is that in Internet Explorer, only the list of stories drop-down list will work, not the list of chapters.
Let me know if that answers your question.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm using a screen reader to access the site as I'm visually impaired, so it wasn't immediately obvious that the Read option was a dropdown list. Thanks for the clarification.

While we are in the subject about the site, let me tell you, your title, MVSfiction, and your stories make me envious....see MVS, envious, they rhyme
